Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fair Oaks, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,200-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a parking garage.

NCPA Sunrise Dispatch and Scheduling Center Renovation The project, as more particularly described in the Bid Documents includes, but is not limited to, Tenant improvement of +/- 7,200 sf office building, which will serve as NCPA's backup Dispatch and Scheduling Center building. Improved spaces to include, but not limited to: open office space, private offices, conference, break rooms, work rooms, server space, secure vestibule, and restrooms with all necessary support spaces. Improvements to include all necessary mechanical, plumbing and electrical upgrades. Site improvements to include a new emergency stand-by generator, fenced generator enclosure, and grading necessary for a new accessible parking stall. The Contractor shall be responsible for 100% disposal of all materials, and shall comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. The Contractor shall also be responsible for final inspection of Facilities after work is finished, as well as cleanup of job site and proper disposal of all waste produced under the Scope of Work. A bidder must be a contractor, holding a valid Class B license issued by the State of California, to perform the work for this project. The license must be active and in good standing as of the date of receipt of bids and must be maintained in good standing throughout the term of the contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond payable to NCPA for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Materials) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price Each bidder shall comply with and agree to all instruction and requirements in this Notice Inviting Bids and in the Bid Documents. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid proposal form. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in a bid. The Agency will award the contract, if awarded, to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid and whose bid proposal complies with the requirements prescribed. Such award, if made, will be made within ninety (90) calendar days after the opening of the proposals. All bids shall be valid for a minimum of ninety (90) days after the scheduled date for the opening of bids. Contractor hereby agrees to commence the Work within 10 calendar days from the date of NCPA's "Notice to Proceed," and to diligently prosecute the same to completion within one hundred and sixty nine (169) consecutive calendar days commencing after the date of NCPA's Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall complete the work no later than March 31, 2025, except as adjusted by any subsequent change order. Time is of the essence in this Agreement. General Work Description.
