THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. THIS IS A REQUEST UNDER A PREVIOUSLY ISSUED BPA. WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO ADD NEW CONTRACTORS TO THE BPA AT THIS TIME. This work on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, clearing and grubbing, structure excavation, disposal of existing structure, installation of bridge substructure and backfill, installation of superstructure, and embankment construction. Also, trail clearing and brushing from the trailhead to the project site (0.6 miles), excavation at the project site for bridge installation for building approaches, abutments, and landings. New trail construction will total approximately 225'. The new trail construction includes a 30' segment of trail which will have a grid block installed. Work also includes 100' of the existing trail to be decommissioned and restored to natural conditions by placing vegetation to block/camouflage each end of the trail.
