Consultants for Tr 025 NW Juniper Street Improvements The City of Issaquah Solicits Interest From Consulting Firms With Expertise in Civil Surveying and Mapping Services. This Agreement Will Be for Approximately 1 Year in Duration With the Option for the City of Issaquah to Extend It for Additional Time and Money if Necessary. The Agreement is Paid for With Fhwa Funds, Consultants Must Have Indirect Cost Rate That is Compliant With 48 Cfr Part 31 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (Far) or Has Been Approved Through the Safe Harbor Indirect Cost Rate Pilot Program. Consultants Will Be Considered for the Following Project. The City of Issaquah Reserves the Right to Amend Terms of This "request for Qualifications" (Rfq) to Circulate Various Addenda, or to Withdraw the Rfq at Any Time, Regardless of How Much Time and Effort Consultants Have Spent on Their Responses. Project Description the Work to Be Performed by the Consultant Consists of Surveying and Mapping Services for Improvements Along Nw Juniper Street, From Newport Way Nw to 250 Ft East of 7th Avenue Nw. The Proposed Improvements Include Drainage, Irrigation, Ada Improvements, Illumination, Crosswalks, and Signage. The Major Features of the Project Are as Follows: o 800 Ft Long, 12 Ft Wide Multi-purpose Path With Landscaped Buffer Along the North Side of Nw Juniper Street o Utility Relocations o Preservation of Large Trees on Backside of Multi-purpose Path o Determination of R/w Needs a Zero Mandatory Dbe Goal Has Been Assigned and a Voluntary Sbe (Small Business Enterprise) Goal Amount of Ten Percent of the Consultant Agreement is Established. The Consultant Shall Develop an Sbe Participation Plan Prior to Commencing Work. Although the Goal is Voluntary, the Outreach Efforts to Provide Sbe Maximum Practicable Opportunities Are Not. The City of Issaquah Reserves the Right to Retain the Services of the Successful Firm for Any Subsequent Phase Associated With This Project.
