The work includes providing bonds and insurance; remove discharge head, column assembly, pump, motor, and accessories; sound lap; haul the column assembly, pump, motor and accessories to the yard and dispose of any items not specified for reuse; run water in the well overnight; provide 750-feet (750') of 1/4 -inch ( 1/4 ") Dekeron-coated stainless steel airline, including strapping material, airline fittings, and airline gauge; install pump, motor, column assembly, and accessories, including assembling components; disinfect the well in accordance with AWWA C-654; provide performance test, including vibration analysis; perform water sampling and testing; bacteriological testing; restore site grading to original or better; and hydromulch seeding; complete as specified. In ample time to permit consideration before reply, submit questions about bidding instruments to the Engineer through www.CivcastUSA.com. Questions will not be considered or answered after 10:00am, three (3) business days prior to bidding. The work consists of: a. Remove column assembly including pump and motor. b. Inspect pumping equipment. c. Sound the lap. d. Perform any necessary mechanical and chemical rehabilitation of the well. e. Install new column assembly components and accessories to a pump setting of 750 feet. f. Replace the pump, motor, column assembly and accessories, as directed by Engineer. g. Performing water sampling and testing before and after water well rework. h. Hydro-mulching all areas withing the plant sire and all other adjacent areas disturbed during the construction.
