Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2821000, 2886000, 2886200 WIN 28210.00, 28860.00, 28862.00 Location: In Kennebec & Androscoggin Counties: Project 28210.00 is located on Main Street in Winthrop beginning 0.02 of a mile East of Route 133 and extending East 0.95 of a mile. Project 28860.00 is located on Route 133 in Wayne beginning 0.04 of a mile Northwest of Route 41 and extending Northwest 4.76 miles. Project 28862.00 is located on Route 202 beginning 0.15 of a mile North of Northwood Road in Lewiston and extending North 16.69 miles. Outline of Work: Cyclical Pavement Resurfacing, Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course with Safety Improvements, and other incidental work. Questions received. after noon of Monday (or if that Monday is a state holiday, Friday) prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
