North County Water and Force Main Extensions It is St. Lucie Countys Intent to Award a Construction Contract to One or More Qualified Bidders to Perform Construction-related Services for Approximately 3,100 Lineal Feet of 8 Water Main and 2,600 Lineal Feet of 4 Sanitary Force Main on Us-1 Between Kings Highway and the St. Lucie County Line. The Successful Contractor Will Be Expected to Provide Connection to the Existing 12 Water Main Along the East Side of Us-1 at Kings Highway and to the Existing 16" Force Main at the Southwest Corner of Us-1 and Kings Highway, Approximately 700-ft of Directional Bores, and Associated Fittings and Appurtenances Along Us-1. All Bidders Shall Provide Proof That They Are State Certified or State Registered, and a State Registered License Shall Be Based on the Possession of a St. Lucie County Certificate of Competency. Specialty Contractors Shall Be Required to Provide Proof of Having Obtained a St. Lucie County Certificate of Competency. Possession of Either a State Certification or County Competency Card Must Accompany the Bid. It is the Responsibility of the Bidder to Confirm That They Have All the Proper Licenses to Perform the Work. The Board of County Commissioners Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or Minor Irregularities; Reject Any and All Bids/proposals Which Are Incomplete, Conditional, Obscure, or Which Contain Additions Not Allowed for; Accept or Reject Any Proposal in Whole or in Part With or Without Cause; and Accept the Proposal Which Best Serves the County.
