Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 36,500-square-foot, five-story above grade multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Winnipeg Housing Rehabilitation Corporation is seeking proposals for a Construction Manager to join our team to manage and direct the necessary work to build a new affordable multi-unit rental housing project to be located at 575 Balmoral St, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Preliminary plans call for the construction of a five storey building with 50 to 54 housing units (approx. 36,500 sf of total building) on a 13,207 sf site zoned Downtown Living Sector. In addition to dwelling units, the main floor shall include common area amenities and support services multi-purpose areas, complete with washrooms and a break room. The project scope is subject to change based on financial viability and further design progress with the project team. A high level of energy efficiency and minimum accessibility requirements will be part of the project requirements.
