The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified land acquisition consulting firms to establish a contract(s) through competitive negotiations for providing typical work considered associated with real estate services. Services may consist of, but not limited to real estate appraisals, right-of-way and easement acquisition for capital projects, relocation services, purchasing, leasing, and lease-to-own options for buildings and/or land, and other related services. Services will be provided on an as needed basis for Hanover County, Virginia. The contract will supplement the County's internal resources by providing a flexible and effective way for the County to respond to recurring consultant service needs for multi-dimensional tasks covering a range of land acquisition work. Funding source for work assigned under the contract will be federal, state, and-or local appropriations. Federal funding will consist of Federal Highway Administration ("FHWA") appropriations. The source for which funding source applicable will be identified for each task assigned under contract. Requirements specific to FHWA funded projects are included in Section 7 of the RFP. All requirements are identified in the RFP documents. Period of Contract: From November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025 The County reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this solicitation. Should the County determine in writing and in its sole discretion that only one Offeror is fully qualified, or that one Offeror is clearly more highly qualified and suitable than the others under consideration, a contract may be negotiated and awarded to that Offeror Question Deadline 08/14/2024 All inquiries for information should be directed to: Trena A.
