Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Base Bid includes parking lot improvements including pavement reconstruction of the existing asphalt parking lot at the City of East St. Louis, Public Works Building. Additional work includes the construction of storm sewer to improve parking lot drainage and all other work to complete the project. The Contractor shall comply with local, State and Federal Safety and Health Requirements. The Contractor shall possess a City of East St. Louis business license and /or a contractor's registration (whichever is applicable). The City reserves the right to reject all Bids, to request information concerning any Bid for purposes of clarifications, to accept or negotiate any modification to any Bid following the deadline for receipt of all Bids, and to waive any irregularities if such would serve the best interests of the City. If the bidder neglects to provide any required documentation their bid is subject to be rejected for non responsiveness. In addition, the bidder is subject to administrative cost that the City incurs due to the bidder's non-responsiveness. The City of East St. Louis encourage certified MBE's and WBE's to submit Bids for service in accordance with the terms and conditions required Latest Time to Submit Request for Interpretation: August 12, 2024 All requests for interpretations shall be in writing via mail or e-mail addressed to the Owner and must be received two (2) days prior to date fixed for opening bids in order to be given consideration. Any and all interpretations and supplemental instructions will be made by addendum to the Drawings and Specifications and forwarded to all bidders either by mail or e-mail transmittal.
