Site work for a water / sewer project in Brundidge, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,500 L.F. of 8"Sanitary Sewer, 9 Manholes, and appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or Bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The Bidder shall show evidence by including its current license number during registration and clearly displaying on the out side of the sealed envelope in which the Bid is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will therebybe promoted. The Owner further reserves the right to negotiate price and time with the low bidder. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. **Document Notes: Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: online. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a online or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications ,addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Poly, Inc.,1935 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL 36303, 334-793-4700. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents also maybe examined at Brundidge City Hall located at 200 N. Main St., Brundidge, AL 36010 on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will received a refund less the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Question Deadline 08/20/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Mobley, P.E., Poly, Inc., mmobley@poly-inc.com. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
