Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The contract Scope of Work will include exterior improvements including new siding, trim, painting, lighting, roofing, minor electrical work, steel doors, door hardware, and signage. The contract will allow one hundred twenty (120) calendar days for completion of the work from the Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about September 16, 2024. Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which shall be submitted intact. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Borough of North Plainfield, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten (10) percent (%) of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and deliver to the Borough an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bids received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. The Borough of North Plainfield reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the Proposal received and to accept the Proposal which is in the best interest of the Borough.
