This solicitation is for the Removal and Replacement of a Fence for the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs located at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 1620 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70564. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2165. A. (1), a Contractors' License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction, and/ or Limited Specialty Services must appear on the bid opening envelope on all projects in the amount of $50,000.00 or more (and $1.00 or more if hazardous materials are involved). Failure to do so shall eliminate your bid from consideration. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the Agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so shall eliminate your bid from consideration.
