Description: Lining of a 24 water main through Kettering Field under Interstate 75 and across Vermont Avenue to Earl Avenue. This will include construction of a 24 water main in the intersection of Vermont Avenue at Earl Avenue. Approximately 1,450 linear feet of Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and 45 linear feet of 24 ductile iron pipe via open-cut will be installed. Work includes the lining and installation of pipe and fittings, gate valves, fire hydrants and performing other work incidental thereto. Site Address: Kettering Field Est. Completion Date: Sept. 30, 2025 This project consists of lining approx. 1,450 linear feet of 24" cast iron water main in Kettering Fields to cross I-75 to Earl Ave. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, and materials, and performing all operations in connection with the lining of the existing water main with a continuously extruded jointless and seamless pipe liner. Goals of Minority Worker Utilization Expressed in Percentage Terms From 1/1/2000 to Present 11.5% If the Engineer determines that an interpretation or clarification is warranted, the Engineer shall issue an Addendum through the Electronic Bidding Service. Any interpretation or clarification of the Contract Documents made by any Person other than the Engineer, or in any manner other than an Addendum issued through the Electronic Bidding Service, shall not be binding and the Bidder shall not rely upon any such interpretation or clarification.
