This proposal note will govern the assignment of work types to pay items. However, the Contractor may perform incidental work items for which it does not hold the required work type provided the cost of the work does not exceed 5% of the total bid. The Contractor may also perform Work Type 26 (Structural steel painting) without holding the required work type provided the total area to be painted does not exceed 700 SF per structure.
