Experience in Landscaping (Form 850-070-09) Must Be Completed and Submitted With Bid. Lump Sum. At the time of bid submit the following: 1) A letter of reference from a government agency or an independent business that states the bidder has satisfactorily completed a landscape project of at least $500,000 as the Landscape Contractor. 2) Three (3) separate letters of endorsement from three (3) Registered Landscape Architects currently licensed in the State of Florida. Endorsements shall include the Landscape Architect's signature, license number, description of landscape work performed, quality of the work, and location of project. Note: All letters and endorsements shall be signed and dated within the last five (5) years. For all questions posted before the deadline, FDOT will provide and post responses on online. Direct all questions to the Department by posting them to the Department's website at the following URL address: https://bqa.fdot.gov/home Questions posted to this site before 5:00 P.M. (EST) on the seventh calendar day prior to the bid opening, or tenth calendar day prior to the December bid opening, will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after these times, an answer cannot be assured. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation.
