The City has identified the need to establish a Vendor List of pre-qualified contractors for the performance of certain welding services on an “as and when requested” basis throughout Chilliwack, BC. The purpose of this RFPQ is to pre-qualify Proponents to be registered to the Vendor List. Routine installation, maintenance and repair services, including but not limited to; • Interpret Engineered DWGs • SOLIDWORKS design works • Site Preparation, Layout • Custom Metal Fitting and Fabrication; • Performing MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux Cored Arc Welding in relation to ferrous and nonferrous Structural, Pipe, and Pressure welding; • Provide 100% Visual Test of all welds; • Plasma cutting • Coordinating metallurgical and mechanical testing and analysis by an ISO 17025 certified company when required; • Coordinating works and repairs with City tenants and staff while working independently and interdepartmentally across the City’s organization.
