Services for this project include the design and preparation of construction contract plans and specifications for the reconstruction with widening and extension of Canyon Road according to the Village of Hebron collector standards as described in Title Seven of the Village of Hebron Codified Ordinances. The widening and reconstruction will extend along Canyon Road approximately 2,000' to the north of Refugee Road. The extension will provide connection from Refugee Road SE. to U.S. 40. The intersection s at Refugee Road SE. and at U.S. 40 will be upgraded accordingly. Additional enhancements include curb and gutter, drainage improvements (including regional flood control improvements), sidewalk, shared use path, ADA compliant ramps, lighting, and extensions for both the waterline and sanitary line. The design shall be funded with local municipal funds and refunded by private funds. The Construction may be funded by a combination of federal, state, local , and private funds. It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed by September 30, 2024. If the Village Council chooses to require thr ee readings for the award, the authorization will be pushed to November 1 st , with all completion dates shifting by 30 days.
