Fire and Burglar Monitoring Services, Port Wide Location Additions/deletions: The Port reserves the right to add or delete monitoring locations throughout the contract period according to the needs of the Department. Related Professional Services: May include but is not limited to, replacement, refurbishment, upgrading, servicing, maintenance, installation, removal, rewiring, reengineering, connecting, inspecting, and any associated professional services as it relates to the fire and burglar alarm systems throughout the Department. Monitoring Requirements: 1. Provide monitoring and alarm dispatching of the fire alarm control panels/communicators. 2. Provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week monitoring on fire alarms transmitted and provide appropriate dispatch response to the alarm. 3. Dispatch fire alarm to appropriate Los Angeles Fire Department Operations Center immediately on receipt of the alarm. 4. Knowledge and training made available for Port staff. SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Program all alarm panels to the call center 800 - telephone number. 2. Monitor the alarms twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. 3. Establish a priority contact list with each division. 4. Follow up alarm events with an email to the supervising division including the time and type of alarm. 5. Provide the Department with a twenty-four (24) hour 1-800 number to put systems on test. 6. Establish a passcode with all divisions. 7. Establish a master passcode for Buildings and Grounds which will supersede all other passcodes.
