No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Thirty (30) Days After the Specified Time for Receipt of Bids. A Bid Bond or Certified Check Made Payable to Ecusd7 in the Amount of 5% of Th Base Bid Shall Accompany the Bid Packages as a Guarantee That the Bidder, if Awarded the Contract, Will Furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond; Execute the Contract; and Proceed With the Work. Upon Failure to Do So, the Bidder Shall Forfeit the Deposit or Amount of the Bid Bond as Liquidated Damages, and No Mistakes or Errors on the Part of the Bidder Shall Excuse the Bidder or Entitle Him to a Return of the Deposit or Bid Bond. The Project Shall Be Performed in Compliance With the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders Must Be in Compliance With the Rules and Regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.
