The City of Montebello (City), Montebello Bus Lines (MBL), is soliciting proposals from highly qualified contractors to provide restroom renovation services to the Administration and Maintenance Division at the Transportation Facility. The selected contractor will remove and replace existing fixtures, piping, and equipment, as well as associated components (e.g., urinals, toilets, sinks, drains, countertops, lighting, finishes, vents, bathroom exhaust fans, heating and cooling systems, etc.), with modern functional restroom equipment and supplies to serve the sanitary needs of the department. The City's intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit a contractor to renovate the restrooms in the Administration and Maintenance Division at the Transportation Facility. These restrooms, part of the original building constructed over 25 years ago, have never been renovated and now require updated equipment and maintenance services. The city seeks to form a partnership with a contractor committed to delivering exceptional results while adhering to safety and environmental standards. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity listed and to delete any item from the contract. The Contractor will be required to comply with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and all applicable federal, state and local laws, and requirements. The selected contactor will be responsible for providing design, permits, labor, construction supervision, safety regulations, commercial grade material fixtures, tools, alternative restrooms (trailer/portable) and equipment necessary to complete the renovation.
