Preventative maintenance activities for the data centre equipment related to the following systems: - HVAC Services - Critical Equipment (generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), power distribution units (PDUs), etc.) - Smoke Detection & Fire Alarm system - Generator system - Mechanical and Electrical Services. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the Ontario Financing Authority (OFA), seeking Professional Engineering Services for the maintenance and support of the OFA data centre at 1 Dundas Street West in Toronto, ON. This preventative maintenance will reduce any computing service availability risks that could adversely affect the delivery of sensitive and time-critical OFA business obligations. Scope of Work Environmental and power controls at the OFAs data center require engineering services and support, including; - scheduled environmental control checks for regular maintenance and review; and - additional labour and materials for repairs on an as needed basis, including for emergency calls to ensure the computing equipment within the data center can operate at acceptable levels and that: - the data centers operating environment is maintained to safeguard computing infrastructure availability. - the data centers environment complies with the computing manufacturers equipment warranty requirements; and all applicable engineering standards, by-laws, building codes and landlord specifications are adhered to. The vendor will provide management and specialized technical knowledge with a disciplined structure to continuously operate, maintain and improve building systems and equipment to support the OFAs operations and processes, including; - Emergency service calls - Regular scheduled inspections (with checklists), including surveying items crucial to the reliable performance of the data centre facility infrastructure as itemized. - Provision of other Goods and Services, subject to OFA approval.
