Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. This project includes the construction of a water quality facility including a hydrodynamic separator, manholes, 10-in & 16-in & 24-in pressure pipes, 18-in & 42-in storm pipe, sewer & storm bypass pumping, flow control devices and installation of a City supplied oil treatment device. Work will be completed in a utility easement area in a busy commercial parking area. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract plans, special provisions, and the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications. Time for completion of the work is limited to *25* working days. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Checks shall be made payable to The City of Wenatchee. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Wenatchee. The City of Wenatchee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
