Renovation of a civil project in Wenatchee, Washington. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) administration building was built in the 1950s over the influent pump station. The building is at the end of it's service life and needs to be expanded. This project will build a new building at the WWTP site. The sewer/storm collections equipment will be moved to the public services center(PSC) which is out of space for storing equipment. A new garage will be built for the sewer/storm collections equipment, water utility equipment and two street sweepers. As of August 21, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is in the design phase and bidding is expected to take place in late 2025 with construction in 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
