Site Address: 700 South Worthen Street Site Directions: Traveling westbound on the SR 285 George Sellar Memorial Bridge, take the first off ramp north onto S. Wenatchee Ave. Continue northbound until Thurston St. Turn right, then continue to S Columbia St. Turn left and then take the first right towards the Thurston Street underpass. Continue to the intersection of Thurston St and Worthen St. This is the northern limit of the project, the southern limit of the project is at Hale Park. Description: This project will support trail usage and safe access, enhance roadway channelization, pedestrian/bicycle delineation, realign the trail, adding a lane where possible to create separation from vehicles, enhancing the buffer separation areas aesthetically and add illumination to 2,200-ft length of Worthen Street from Thurston Street south toward Hale Park, where the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail runs along the shoulder of the existing vehicle traveled way. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract plans, special provisions, and the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications. The Engineer's estimated range of probable cost is $350,000 to $428,000.
