Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Nordegg, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project includes the rehabilitation of two trestles, identified as Trestle 1 and Trestle 3. The extent of rehabilitation work required at each trestle may differ, however the general scope of work is similar. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Removal and disposal of existing timber braces, struts, walers, stringers and any other elements identified on the drawings - Supply and install new timber braces - Supply and install stringers per drawing instructions, as well as stringers with potential decay exceeding prescriptive specification requirements - Supply and install new timber decking and guardrails - Minor grading at each bridge end for smooth transition - Return site to previous condition
