Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Town of Groton, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Town Field Improvements at in Groton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by WARNER LARSON, INC. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: Demolition of existing dugouts, reconstruction of the baseball infield, removal and restablishment of outfield lawn, drainage, fencing, backstop, concrete pavement. 3. The construction will be administered using BidDocs’ construction software paid for by the Awarding Authority or Prime Designer. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. C. The Contractor's attention is directed to Article 3.3 of the General Conditions. D. Permits: See Article 3.16.1 of the General Conditions. E. Utility Back Charges: If applicable, see Article 3.16.5 of the General Conditions. F. Police Details: If applicable, see Article 3.16.6 of the General Conditions. G. The site/building and adjacent site/buildings will be occupied during construction unless otherwise noted in the Contract Documents.
