Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Groton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

The following Scope of Services shall be performed based upon the above-described Project of Work. The Scope of Services is subject to revision and coordination during contract negotiations. Task 1: Project Kick-off 1. The Consultant shall familiarize themselves with the current existing conditions of Town Field. 2. The Consultant shall also review the existing site conditions on-site with Town staff. Task 1 Products 1. The Consultant shall gather a thorough understanding of Town Fields history and site conditions. A survey of Town Field to determine space/layout of the two ball fields and spacing of bleachers and concession/restroom facilities shall be provided. Please note that Town Field has access to water, sewer and electric utilities. The Town Manager's Goal with this Request for Proposals is to have a qualified designer work with the Town Manager, Park Commission and Department of Public Works to upgrade these facilities. The Town of Groton, Massachusetts, acting through its Town Manager, seeks proposals from qualified designer, architectural and engineering firms to provide plans and bid specifications for the Redevelopment and Improvements to Town Field, owned by the Town of Groton, located on Playground Road, and consisting of 14.43 acres. Upgrades would include complete overhaul of both baseball diamonds, installation of bleachers and dugouts at the Major League Diamond, installation of a press box/concession/toilet facility, the potential installation of lights and upgrades to the Gazebo and Playground. Designer Fee :Negotiated Time Period for Completed Project : Six months.
