Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Fitchburg invites sealed bids for paving projects. This bid is subject to MassDOT prequalification requirements and the Class of Work is Pavement-Surfacing. A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the sum of 50% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. Project is subject to compliance with prevailing wage requirements. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 39M, and any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. The City reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the scope of work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder. Complete sets of bidding documents shall be used in preparing bids; the City does not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of bidding documents or for modifications to the bidding documents including electronic conversion. Bidders shall examine all information and materials contained in and with this solicitation. Failure to do so shall be at the bidder's risk.
