Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) Airfield Emergency Generator Replacement Project Major work items include but are not limited to: This project includes but is not limited to the replacement of the existing Airfield Electrical 400kW diesel generator with a new Natural Gas Engine Generator fueled by a Natural Gas Utility Company service. The existing diesel generator, associated underground fuel storage tank, associated existing fueling and piping equipment, existing generator electrical equipment, resistive load bank equipment, and other related existing generator supporting equipment, will be removed, and disposed of off-site. Also included in the project is a new standalone natural gas engine generator, new associated electrical and mechanical equipment to support the operation of the proposed replacement engine generator, a new generator quick connection box with interlocks, new floodlights with associated control equipment, all incidentals necessary to incorporate the proposed engine generator and utility status indications into the existing Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System, and all other incidentals necessary to create working systems. The installation methods used will be done in a manner to maintain an alternate power source to the Airfield Lighting Electrical Equipment Vault and minimize impacts to airport lighting and airport operations. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the TOTAL BID PRICE but not to exceed $20,000.00, is required to accompany all bid submissions.
