Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Porte, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project is currently split into four phases. The current RFP represents the work for Phase I and Phase II. The Public Works Facility Improvements project (Phase I) includes a new 16,000 SF, two-story building located adjacent to their existing Public Works Facility at 2963 N 23rd , La Porte, TX 77571. The program will include multiple training rooms, offices, kitchen, several conference rooms, storage, and support spaces. The site development will include parking and security fencing. Phase II includes renovations to an existing 2,100 SF building into storage space and new construction of a 2,100 SF building to include, offices, restroom, chemical storage, and COLP sign shop. The current facility and parking will remain operational throughout construction. Once the new Public Works Facility is built, phase III and IV can proceed (not included in this scope of work). Questions shall be in writing and submitted through Public Purchase, CivCast or at purchasing@laportetx.gov. Deadline for questions is August 30th, 2024, by 5:00 p.m
