Site work for a water / sewer project in Cleveland, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project contemplated consists of approximately 6,500 LF of new 6-inch DIP watermain, accessories, and appurtenances across 3 sites with an add alternate for an additional approximately 4,070 LF of 6-inch DIP watermain, accessories, and appurtenances. The total Contract time shall be calculated based on the sum of the days associated with the Base Bid and the days associated with the Add Alternate Bid. The Work associated with the Base Bid will be completed in all respects within 205 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Work associated with the Add Alternate Bid shall add an additional 120 calendar days to the total Contract time. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the Cleveland Utilities Authority. This project is being supported with Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. Owners right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Documents may be obtained from Jacobs Engineering upon request. Portable Document Format (PDF) Bidding Documents will be issued for bid. Questions shall be submitted on Bidders company letterhead in PDF format and attached to the transmitting email.
