The work to be bid on is as follows: The Project consists of the installation of a Cured-In-Place liner into approximately 5,500 linear feet of sizes 8-inch to 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe; 1,700 linear feet of pipe bursting of 6-inch to 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, 1,440 linear feet of pipe bursting of 8-inch to 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, and 3,600 linear feet of pipe bursting of sizes 8-inch to 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, all of various materials; installation of 120 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC; and 4 external point repairs on 8-inch to 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe. The Project also includes approximately 30 Cured-In-Place service lateral repairs, 90 Open Cut Replacement service laterals repairs with 50 of those being on a pipe burst line, and the installation of 100 cleanouts. There are approximately 530 vertical feet of manhole lining, 18 prep and re-line connections of a previously lined manhole, 1 new manhole, and 1 manhole to be replaced. Lastly, the project will include two (2) individual stream crossings consisting of Open Cut Replacement of 12-inch diameter DIP sanitary sewer pipe with a concrete encasement from access point to access point- one crossing is 100 linear feet at 0-6 feet depth and the other is 115 linear feet at 6-12 feet depth. Add Alternates to the project may include approximately 440 linear feet of PVC SDR 26 Open Cut Replacement from access point to access point of 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, and one (1) stream crossing consisting of 70 linear feet of Open Cut Replacement of12-inch diameter DIP sanitary sewer pipe with a concrete encasement from access point to access point at 6-12 feet depth. The allotted time for construction is 330 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 360 consecutive calendar days for final completion. RFIs will be accepted until 2:00 PM local time on August 28, 2024. No responses will be provided for RFIs received after this time. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
