The project is expected to be awarded on January 27, 2026.** City School District (Hereinafter Referred to as "owner") Will Receive Sealed Bids Prior to the Date and Time Stated for the Bid Opening for the Award of a Contract to Construct the: New Bus Maintenance Facility at 600 N. Cherry Street, Tulare, Ca 93274. The Contract Documents, Including the Drawings and Specifications, Which May Now Be Obtained Electronically From the Architect,who is Teter, Inc. 7535 N. Palm Ave., Suite 201 Fresno, Ca 93711 Attn: Javier Hernandez; Javier.hernandez@teterae.com Alternate: Kristina Zamora;kristina.zamora@teterae.com. Public Works Projects Shall Be Subject to Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. For All Projects Over Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000), a Contractor or Subcontractor Shall Not Be Qualified to Submit A Bid or to Be Listed in a Bid Proposal Subject to the Requirements of Public Contract Code Section 4104 Unless Currently Registered and Qualified Under Labor Code Section 1725.5 to Perform Public Work as Defined by Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 ( 1720 Et Seq.) of the Labor Code. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check for at Least Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount of the Base Bid and Made Payable to The Owner, as Detailed in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in The Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The Contractor Must Pay for Any Labor Therein Described or Classified in an Amount Not Less Than the Rates Specified. Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or doubt as to meanings shall be referred immediately to the Architect who will send written instructions clarifying such questions to each bidder. Oral responses will not be binding on the Owner or Architect or any Construction Manager. Any questions or requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted by a proposing Contractor by December 1, 2025 Scope: This Project consists of the following: The Scope of Work is the construction of a New Bus Maintenance Facility on an approximately 4.69-acres of District-owned site located at Tulare City School District, 600N. Cherry Street in Tulare, Tulare County, California. The Project will include approximately 7,395 square feet of buildings, including Site work & Bus Wash Structure. See the Contract Documents for additional details.The Contractor whose proposal is determined to offer the best value to the District pursuant to this RFP must promptly execute the Lease-Leaseback Agreement, the Site Lease, and the Sublease, no later than ten (10) business days following award of the contract.
