Marshall University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid amounts for Alternates, in whole or in part, and in any order. Such acceptance may affect lowest responsible and responsive bid chosen by Marshall University Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. Work includes moving furniture, removal of existing flooring, removal of existing rubber base, preping the floor, installation of new carpet and new rubber base. One alternate includes replacement of VCT flooring. Owner intends to continue to occupy all portions of the existing building during the entire construction period. B. Cooperate with Owner to minimize conflict and to facilitate Owner's operations. C. Schedule the Work to accommodate Owner occupancy.
