As of May 5, 2025, construction is scheduled to start this month and complete September 2025. All trades have been awarded. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. Cadillac Area Public Schools is requesting proposals for MTMS Roof Replacement located at 8401 S Mackinaw Trail, Cadillac MI 49601. Companies and/or their representatives may submit proposals to: Cadillac Area Public Schools, 421 South Mitchell Street, Cadillac MI 49601 The Cadillac Area Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district. A minimum wage has been determined for this Project and will be on file at the office of the Owner at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date set for receipt of bids. The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement. Proposers must provide a bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the total contract. The successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 90 days before awarding contracts. Construction is anticipated to start within 30 calendar days after receipt of bids.
