Cadillac Area Public Schools is requesting proposals for MTMS Roof Replacement located at 8401 S Mackinaw Trail, Cadillac MI 49601. Companies and/or their representatives may submit proposals to: Cadillac Area Public Schools, 421 South Mitchell Street, Cadillac MI 49601 The Cadillac Area Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district. A minimum wage has been determined for this Project and will be on file at the office of the Owner at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date set for receipt of bids. The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement. Proposers must provide a bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the total contract. The successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 90 days before awarding contracts. Construction is anticipated to start within 30 calendar days after receipt of bids. Completion is expected by August 22, 2025. ARCHITECT PROJECT NO. 21126.41 Question Deadline 08/23/2024 Questions for this Project shall be directed to the Construction Manager and the Architect. Prospective Bidders in doubt as to the true meaning of a part of the Drawings, Specifications, or other Contract Documents shall submit to the Construction Manager and the Architect, not less than ten (10) days before the date of the bid, a written request for interpretation and clarification. Construction is expected to start Spring 2025 and complete in the summer of 2025.
