Drawings and specifications are available online or at the 100 E. Chapin Street, Ste A, Cadillac, MI 49601 office of Prein&Newhof. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who have been pre-qualified by the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders or are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Grading and paving asphalt parking lot, concrete sidewalk, and permanent signing. Alternate option for grading and aggregate surfacing of pathway for Owner approval. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. FUNDING The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from MDNR Trust Fund Grant and Missaukee County. All relevant State or Federal requirements apply to this contract. The Contractor and all sub-contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. 6. BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Missaukee County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days after the receipt of bids. This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials required to furnish and apply turf establishment items (topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch) on disturbed areas and newly graded surfaces of the project. Turf establishment must be in accordance with section 816 of the Standard Specifications for Construction and Special Detail R-100 Series, except as modified herein or otherwise directed by the Engineer. This also includes removal and legal disposal of all construction debris, litter, and materials. This work consists of removing large (>2-foot diameter) decorative boulders at the locations noted on the plans, storing on the project site in safe location and relocating the boulders to locations designated on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. This work also consists of moving a 24 x 14 shed (constructed on skids) westerly approximately 20 to a location beyond the limits of proposed paving and as by the Engineer.
