Site work for a mixed-use development in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project has been cancelled as per website. The construction of Fire Hall #1 was completed in 2020 at the corner of Front and Black Streets. The Fire Hall's access is shared with the adjacent public laneway. This past year, the corner lot at Second Avenue and Black Street was developed, increasing traffic in the laneway. The Fire Hall #1 access improvements project will reduce potential conflicts between emergency response vehicles and the public.
