Site work for a civil project in Iowa, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
City Park Lift Station Sewer Line Outfall Improvements A certified check or cashiers check, payable to the order of the Town of Iowa; or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed forty five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Louisiana R.S. 38:2214. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law. Performance and Payment Bonds for the construction are required upon execution of the Contract equal to one hundred percent (100%) of said Contract. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability. Bidders who submit bids on this project will comply with Chapter 24 of Title 37 of Louisiana Revised Statutes (R.S. 37:2150-2164 as amended). The Contractor shall be paid on monthly estimates in cash, all in accordance with the specifications.
