Renovation of a museum in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The City of High Point is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing deteriorated roof and approximately 9 HVAC units at the High Point Museum. The High Point Museum is a twostory building with an existing roof of approx. 17,000 SF, half TPO and half ballasted TPO, will be fully removed and replaced with a single roof membrane system.. There are approx. nine HVAC units that will need replacement during the re-roofing. The museum will be closed during this renovation but some events might occur in the lobby and exterior. As of April 21,2024, a building permit was issued for this project August 13,2024. An architect and a general contractor have been selected. Construction is Schedule to begin May 5,2025. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
