CR Number: 2112858 Project: Broome DDSO-Fire Separation Doors *Note contractor is to provide and supply a 1-year warranty on material and labor. * Summary of Work: Install Rated doors & Assembly 1N Pedestrian way 1N Fire Doors & Assembly. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Upon completion of 1N Fire Doors & Assembly, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the Maintenance Supervisor. This project is to provide and install 1N interior fire doors between buildings 1&2 and install a new door to the outdoors for emergency egress, per attached Stamped Drawings & Project Manual to create a 2hour fire partition. Work must be completed within 75 days of receiving the purchase order 1. Contractor shall perform work per attached Stamped Drawings & Project Manual. 3. Includes conduits, boxes, and pathways to the power supply junction box. 4. Includes any required infill of existing window spaces and/or doors per attached drawings. 5. Broome OPWDD will Provide 120v circuit within 6' of door set on the Bldg. 2S side. 6. All concealed Structures, Electrical conduits/cables, and Fire Caulks must be inspected by OPWDD prior to concealing behind walls or ceilings. If this is not done, you will be asked to expose them for inspection. 7. Fire Alarm Tie in will be Done outside of this Scope. You are required to provide & install the hold open devices. 8. Submittal package must be submitted and approved, prior to beginning work. 9. Other projects will be happening on the Broome Main Campus simultaneously, we must all do our best to work around one another. 10. Contractor shall warrantee work for a period of one year from date of payment for job. Warrantee shall be for parts and labor. 11. Work shall conform to all applicable codes, be done according to manufacturer's instructions, and follow industry best practices. The project consists of the removal of aluminum storefront, glazing, and concrete masonry units as indicated on the drawings. New work consists of the construction of a 2- hour fire barrier with 1-1/2-hour rated double egress doors. Doors will be on magnetic hold opens with connection to the fire alarm system. Hardware is specified so that the doors can have a card access added in the future. Areas where the storefront has been removed will be infilled with concrete masonry units to match existing adjacent surfaces. There will be patching to match existing quarry tile flooring and base. Two new doors will be added to the exterior wall.
