The Texas General Land Office ("GLO") seeks a highly skilled contractor for coastal construction services for the construction of approximately 3,300 linear feet (LF) of Beach Nourishment to restore damages to Jamaica Beach during Hurricane Ike. The project area is located within the city limits of the City of Jamaica Beach, in Galveston County, Texas (the "Project"). The overall goal of the Project is to repair damage from Hurricane Ike and to reduce the effects of coastal erosion. The objective of the beach nourishment is to increase resilience to the coastline, protect coastal habitat, and provide increased protection to infrastructure behind the beach. You are responsible for checking the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) website, Electronic State Business Daily at online for any addenda to this Solicitation.
