Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brandon, Manitoba. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Reconstruction of 26th Street between Victoria Avenue and Park Avenue. The reconstruction project includes: Repair of underground utilities: wastewater and water mains and water services; Replacement of the pedestrian crossing signals at J.R. Reid School; Replacement of the traffic signals at 26th Street & Park Ave; Excavation and replacement of the sidewalks; Excavation and replacement of the pavement structure & a proposed bike lane TIMELINE: Council approved capital funding for reconstruction of this roadway in 2024. Budget is unreleased. The Province of Manitoba has provided a grant for this project in support of an improved transportation network and implementation of active transportation facilities. In the spring of 2024, the City engaged with citizens on the project by hosting 2 in-person events, as well as a survey to gather information, thoughts and ideas on this project. Design is being completed in-house. *Budget will not be released.
