As of October 3, 2024, project is awarded to Barrett Paving Materials, Inc., with the base bid of $267,306.00 (Additive Bid No. 1 $383,392.25 + Additive Bid No. 2 $14,535.00), with a total amount of $665,233.25. Anticipate to start the project in the Spring of 2025. The Project consists of pavement reconstruction and associated work at one (1) large parking area at Duty Free Americas on Wellesley Island and two (2) of the facility parking lots at the TIBA Administrative Office in Collins Landing. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., 120 Washington Street, Suite 100, Watertown, NY 13601. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Purchases made by TIBA are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials.
