It is estimated that 1000cy of ready mix concrete and 300cy of flowable fill will be required annually in the operation of the City of Greenville Street Department, during the period of October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. Bids may be modified or withdrawn by written or telegraphic notice received by the City Purchasing Agent prior to the exact hour and date specified for receipt of bids. A bid may also be withdrawn in person by a bidder or his authorized representative, provided his identity is made known and he signs a receipt for the bid, but only if the withdrawal is made prior to the exact hour and date set for the receipt of bids. It is the intent of the City to award a contract, if any be awarded, within thirty (30) calendar days after the date specified for receipt of bids. It shall be understood that unless otherwise provided for in the Invitation the bid shall have an acceptance period of 30 days unless otherwise stipulated by the bidder in his bid.
