The California Department of Education is soliciting bids to provide inspection, testing, and maintenance of existing Simplex Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Suppression System components, along with all related software located at the California School for the Blind (CSB), 500 Walnut Avenue, Fremont, CA 94536. It is anticipated that the contract start date will begin approximately on February 1, 2024. The actual start date of the contract is contingent upon approval of the agreement by the Department of General Services (DGS), if required. Contract includes two one-year options to renew. Any conflicts, omissions or errors in the IFB or questions concerning clarification or interpretation of the IFB, shall be brought to the attention of Contract Analyst Nikki Garcia, NGarcia@cde.ca.gov, 916-319-0940. The CDE reserves the right to rephrase or not answer any question submitted.
