Shippensburg Area School District, Shippensburg, Cumberland and Franklin Counties Pennsylvania is accepting bids for Dishwasher Replacements at our Middle School and High School Cafeteria Kitchens Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of a surety company legally authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten (10%} of the bid. Shippensburg Area School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept or reject any parts thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and bid securities, and to make the award that is determined to be in the best interest of the District. a. Supply two commercial/industrial dishwashers one for our Middle School Kitchen and one for our High School Kitchen b. Remove and dispose of existing two dishwashers c. Deliver, uncrate, assemble, set in place and installation with start-up for two dishwashers and booster heater at an agreed upon date and time with the District's Food Service Manager at the following locations: i. One at our Shippensburg Area Senior High School, 201 Eberly Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257 ii. One at our Shippensburg Area Middle School, 101 Park Place, Shippensburg, PA 17257 d. Installation for dishwasher at Middle School includes, if necessary, modifications on site to the existing soil table to shorten the table, new stainless steel pantleg dishwasher exhaust ductwork from top of new dishwasher to adjoin existing duct at top of ceiling, remove existing stainless steel wall cabinet located to the left of the current machine, and any other identified reasonable modifications during the installation process. e. Installation for dishwasher at the High Schools includes, if necessary, modifications on site to the existing soil table beyond the previous weld seam and install a new L-shaped dish table section approximately 7'x30", new L shaped table will accommodate new dishwasher with side loader. Custom stainless work to provide new stainless pantleg dishwasher exhaust ductwork from top of new dishwasher to adjoin existing exhaust duct at the ceiling, any other identified reasonable modifications during the installation process. f. provide new stainless steel wall flashing for existing clean side dish table, and g. District will contact chemical company to have lines and equipment rerun to the new machine
