Site work and paving for a civil project in Mitchell, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Project generally involves the following work: Replacement of existing 42.2 ft single span steel stringer bridge with concrete deck and concrete abutments widened with steel stringers and corrugated deck with a single span 62'-0" prestressed concrete girder bridge with concrete integral abutments. Work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing structure, traffic control, unclassified excavation, contractor furnished borrow excavation, pile driving, concrete abutment construction, drainage fabric & riprap installation, setting prestressed concrete girders, concrete bridge deck construction, bridge rail installation, grading, gravel surfacing, ROW fence, and erosion control. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, and shall include all applicable taxes, as indicated in the Bid Form. Question Deadline 09/02/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
