Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Mitchell, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project generally involves the following work: Replacement of existing 2-barrel 10'x8' concrete box culvert with steel stringer and corrugated steel deck widening on the east end of the box with a 2-barrel 12'x8' cast-in-place concrete box culvert with a 45 RHF Skew. Work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing structure, traffic control, temporary persion channel for fish passage, unclassified excavation, contractor furnished borrow excavation, construction of cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert, drainage fabric & riprap installation, grading, gravel surfacing, ROW fence, and erosion control. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, and shall include all applicable taxes, as indicated in the Bid Form. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project has an estimated value range of $800K-$1 M.
