Canon City Area Fire Protection District ("District"), a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, is soliciting Lump Sum Bids for the Fire Station-1 Interior Remodel. Only general contractors who have a Colorado/City of Canon City, Commercial "A" General Contractors License with experience in major remodels will be eligible to bid on the Project. Project Description Interior demolition and remodel of an existing 2-story fire station in Canon City, Colorado. Existing square footage is approximately 9,000 square feet for the remodel area (only partial second-floor work). The remodel consists of new living areas, kitchen, toilet and bathrooms, sleeping quarters, and storage areas. New mechanical and electrical systems included. The project includes phasing and the fire station will be occupied in certain areas during construction.
