One and a Half Year Countywide Contract for Restoration of Concrete Slabs Sidwalks Curbs N Gutters ESTIMATED COST: $305,950.00 LICENSE REQUIREMENT: General Building Contractor, General Engineering, Concrete Engineering, Pipelines Engineering Contractor, Underground Utility/ Excavation SCOPE OF WORK: The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for restoration construction of plain sidewalk slabs, meter sidewalk slabs, curb and gutter damaged as part of underground repairs or new installations done by Department forces. The restoration shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications and other attached documents. The sidewalk, curb and gutter restorations shall be at different locations anywhere within the limits of Miami-Dade County, Florida, as ordered by the Department during a 1.5-year period. This is a non-exclusive contract, and as such, the Department does not guarantee that the full amount of the Contract will be issued to the Contractor. The actual amount of Work Orders assigned will be the prerogative of the Department in its sole discretion and dependent only upon its needs. The Department has allocated certain funds for the construction of this project and the award will not exceed the amount of the funds allocated. The original Bid Security (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) MUST be delivered to WASD, at the address above, BEFORE the bids are opened. Failure to deliver the original will result in the bid submission being rejected as non-responsive. Invited bidders should have received an Invitation to Bid with an Invitation Key linked to the Invitee's email address. Upon request, an invitation can be sent to multiple email addresses within the same company. However, if multiple bids are submitted by the same company, ALL submitted bids will be rejected. The RFI cut-off date is five (5) business days prior to the bid due date QUALIFICATIONS A. The Contractor shall have at least 3 years of experience with construction that casts and pours concrete. B. The Contractor shall own or have access to a portable cement mixer. This is required for isolated sidewalk locations that are too small for a cement truck to be ordered. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
